People comment that I'm always shirtless and... yeah. They're not wrong. haha
But it really isn't just for the photo. I've always been super aware of touch. I feel my clothes basically all the time while most people seem to forget they're even wearing any.
If I'm sitting in a chair, part of my brain is quietly going, I'm sitting in a chair. I notice the fabric against me and every time it moves.
It's annoying sometimes. Outside, though, I kind of love it.
I like cold air on my skin. That's part of why Alaska works so well for me. I'm not sweating through everything, fabric isn't clinging to me, and I get to just feel where I am.
Funny because fashion used to mean EVERYTHING to me. I went to college in Hawai‘i with two duffel bags of shoes. When I came back for sophomore year, I had a backpack, slippers, two pairs of board shorts and two tank tops. haha
Somewhere in there I started caring more about how life felt than how it looked.
So yes... there is a reason I'm always taking my shirt off.
Take yours off and go outside sometime. Shoes optional. Fuck it.
